PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Fired Earth Damp X Bituminous Aluminium is an oil-modified, UV resistant and reflective aluminium pigmented bitumen paint used to coat bitumen waterproofing systems and torch-on membranes improving durability by protecting against UV degradation.

SPREADING RATE

Depending on surface porosity and application method, the spreading rate will be approximately 6 - 8 m² per litre per coat on bituminous surfaces and approximately 12 - 14 m² per litre per coat on steel and galvanised steel.

DRYING PROPERTIES

Touch dry: 2 - 4 hours @ 23°C

Overcoating time: 12 hours depending on weather conditions and film build

CLEANING

Do not allow the product to dry on equipment. Clean all tools (brushes, rollers and spray equipment) while wet with a suitable brush cleaner or mineral turpentine after use.
