PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Fired Earth Wood Primer is a solvent based linseed oil-modified alkyd for wood. The linseed oil content provides a penetrating binder effect into the surface of the wood and improves primer adhesion. It is designed specifically for use on interior and exterior new and unpainted hard and soft wood before applying a paint topcoat and can also be used on chip board.

SPREADING RATE

This product will cover approximately 8 – 10 m² / litre per coat depending on the type of substrate and surface porosity. Spreading rates are based on a roller application to smooth substrates.

DRYING PROPERTIES

Surface or touch dry: 6 hours
Over-coating time: 16 hours minimum / overnight - 7 days maximum (over-coating time longer in winter).

CLEANING

Clean all tools brushes & rollers while wet with Mineral Turpentine after use.
